Breckenridge boasts 2,908 acres of Colorado’s finest terrain, including four terrain parks, two half-pipes and 187 trails spread across five huge peaks.
We groom 29% of our total terrain daily and have snowmaking on 600 acres!

Breck is 100% open!

Terrain Conditions

What an amazing beginning to the season! We had record breaking openings for lifts and all five peaks are open for skiing and riding - earlier than ever too. Thanks to our amazing Ski Patrol, Grooming and other mountain operations teams, Breck has 100% of our ski-able terrain open! Season to date we've received 140" of snow and had one of the best early seasons in Breck's history. The Lake Chutes and Whale's Tail are open for the season if you're looking for a High Alpine fix. Park Lane on Peak 8 for those looking to go big and HWY 9 & Frontier parks are open on Peak 9 with a focus more on progression. You can find powder pockets in local's favorite zones like the south side of Peak 10 or Ore Bucket on Peak 7 as well. The best part about it? We're still just getting started! Finish out 2018 and kick off 2019 on snow!

Uphill access is open for the season! Please review our uphill access guidelines before heading uphill.

Latest Video: The Earliest Ever opening of all 5 peaks
With Peak 10 now open, this is the earliest in the season that we have ever had all 5 peaks open! This holiday season you have your choice between wonderful beginner and intermediate terrain on Peak 9, High Alpine terrain atop Peak 8, rolling intermediate groomers and local's favorite trail Ore Bucket on Peak 7, the sprawling openness of Peak 6 or the steep stuff on Peak 10. There is contagious energy across all five peaks just waiting to be shared.
