Ski through Memorial Day

Season Extended! Breck's Spring Finale

It’s official! You’ve heard it right. Breckenridge Ski Resort is extending this winter season, and future seasons, through Memorial Day, as weather and conditions permit. Thanks to a base elevation of 9,600 feet above sea-level, including the highest chairlift in North America – the Imperial Express, Breck is often blessed with plentiful snowfall (more than 28 feet already this season!), excellent spring snow conditions, and now one of the longest running ski seasons of any major resort in the country.

Terrain

During Breck’s Spring Finale the resort plans to offer approximately 1,000 acres of skiing and riding, with access to intermediate-, advanced- and expert-level terrain on Peaks 6, 7 and 8, while conditions allow. Operations will be based out of Peak 7, with access to skiing and riding on intermediate groomers and high alpine terrain via the Independence SuperChair, T-Bar, 6-Chair, Imperial Express, Zendo and Kensho chairs.

Approximately 1,000 acres of skiing and riding will be open during Breck’s Spring Finale with mountain access from Peak 7, with access to intermediate, advanced and expert. Cruise the groomed blue runs off of the Independence SuperChair on Peak 7, challenge yourself in the High Alpine by taking 6 Chair, TBar and the Imperial Express SuperChair on Peak 8, and enjoy Peak 6 from the Zendo and Kensho chairs.

Lift Tickets

Lift tickets will be available for purchase at the Gondola Ticket Office and the Peak 7 Ticket Office, with prices starting at $99 for Adults and $59 for Children.

Equipment Rentals

On-mountain equipment rentals will be available at the Breck Sports Peak 7 location.

Ski & Snowboard School

There’s still plenty of time to tune up your skills with a pro from the Breckenridge Ski & Snowboard School before the season ends! During Breck’s Spring Finale, three-hour private lessons will be offered based on available terrain.

On-Mountain Dining

Full-service food and beverage offerings will be available at Sevens and The Coop at the base of Peak 7, and at Pioneer Crossing Fridays through Sundays. Pioneer Crossing will offer outdoor grill service during the weekdays.

Over 6' of snow to start off March!

 mar 9 snow

March started off with back to back to back powder days! March is typically Colorado's snowiest month and we are off to a good start. The over 6' of snow we've received coupled with the amazing snowfall that fell during early season are setting us up for an amazing Spring and extended season. Photo taken on Mar 9.
