Views for Days

Alpine lakes, wildflowers, mountain vistas...oh my. There’s so much to be seen in Breck, we could never show you enough photos. But we’ll try:

  • Mohawk Lakes6 alpine lakes, waterfalls, mining relics and more. Mohawk Lakes has got it all.
  • QuandaryChallenge yourself with this famous Colorado 14er for views of the Nuchu and Sawatch Ranges and maybe even some Mountain Goats.
  • Alpine CampTake a ride up the Colorado SuperChair for an easy afternoon of beautiful views. Check out the Horseshoe Bowl loop for wildflowers, fields of green, and a birds-eye-view of town.
  • Baldy: On the other side of town, check out a local favorite -- Baldy. This 13er will be a leg burner, but quieter than many 14ers in the area. Check out views of Mt. Guyot, the town and surrounding peaks.
  • Boreas PassHop in the car and head up Boreas Pass for an unbeatable view of our mountain and town. In the summer, you can drive all the way up this road, or hop out and take a hike or a bike.
  • Swan Mountain: This connector between Breck and Keystone has a scenic drive and beautiful look out at Sapphire Point to take in all of Summit County and Lake Dillon.
