Nothing says spring like drinks, music, patios, snacks – wait, isn’t there a word for this? Oh yeah, it’s après. At Breck, we know après well and we take it very, very seriously. So seriously that we even won best après scene two years in a row by OnTheSnow...our Big Breck Energy precedes us, apparently.

 

A beverage on a deck in the sunshine is one of the best ways to end your ski day in the springtime. Here are our top five Breck après hot spots, though the list could certainly go on.

Seven is your lucky number because in the springtime you can hang out on the deck with happy hour deals and even a few amazing DJs! Sevens is right at the base of Peak 7, our main base area during late spring operations, so this party is hard to miss. After a day in the high alpine, head on down for a Bloody Mary...or two.

 

Breck Brewery

 

#FriendsOnAPowderDay? How about some #FriendsCrackingAColdOneAfterASlushySpringDay? That’s a mouthful. But after a day on the slopes, there really is nothing quite like cheers-ing with your friends, especially at hometown favorite, Breck Brew. Breck Brew is one of the larger locations on Main Street, so feel free to bring the whole crew (plus ones, too). Choose from over a dozen unique beers brewed right here in town and taste what makes Breck so great.

You may also notice your skis get a little sticky in the slushier snow. Make sureto bring them by RMU for a fresh wax and grab a bevy while you’re at it! A local favorite, RMU is a prime Main Street location to gather around for some drinks and tunes after some turns. In the spring and summer, check out the backyard beer garden with a food truck, live music, sunshine and more.

 

Kenosha

 

Beers, BBQ, back patio, Battlestar Galactica (not actually, you get the reference, right? Hint: Dwight Schrute but make him après ready...). Kenosha on Main Street has everything you need to get the party started. Hungry? Grab some piping hot BBQ. Thirsty? Grab an ice-cold beer. All the while, enjoy a beautiful view of our Five Peaks from the back patio deck.

This compass might be broken, but you’re never lost when you make your way into this local favorite tap house. Broken Compass has two prime locations. Check out the OG on Airport Rd, off the beaten path and a local hot spot. Or ski right into town to head over to the new tap room on Main Street.

 

Truly, there is no wrong location when looking for an après spot at Breck. So, make your way into one of many fantastic restaurants and bars, take off those boots, kick back and enjoy the springtime.
