Breckenridge Childcare

Our Child Care Centers offer a fun environment where your child can play during your stay. Children are grouped according to age, as well as development. Our experienced staff will provide fun activities and projects relating to our monthly and daily themes such as “Music March” and “Treasure Hunt Tuesdays!”.

Food & Naps
Our classrooms are peanut-free and all of our programs include healthy lunches, snacks, and juice or milk for children over 12 months. Sippy cups are also provided by the center. If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please bring a nut-free lunch and snack for your child. For naptime, we provide blankets for the children as well as cots, cribs, or mats depending on the classroom.

Ratios
In order to provide the best care for your children, we separate the children based on age and development. The caregiver ratio in each of the classrooms complies with the Colorado State Child Care Facility Licensing standards.

Fever Policy
We’re doing everything we can to keep everyone healthy. Please keep our health guidelines in mind before enrolling your child in our programs. Our fever policy is as follows:

Your child must be fever-free, without medication, for a full 24 hours before participating in our children’s programs

Breckenridge Ski Resort offers three convenient child care locations. Reservations are recommended; drop-ins are allowed if there is space available. Parents are required to remain in Breckenridge at all times while children are enrolled in our program.

Each center accommodates children ages 8 weeks to 3 years old. The Peak 8 Child Care and The Village Child Care also offer programs for 3-5 year olds. All centers are professionally staffed and our lead teachers are trained in CPR and First-Aid, have training in developmentally appropriate practices, and have prior experience in childcare. As a result, our qualified staff members provide a program of appropriate and fun-filled activities and projects throughout the day. Outside playtime is also a priority and we strive to take each child (over 12mo.) outdoors each day. Please note that outside playtime may vary depending on weather conditions and nap schedules.

* This price is for advance, on-line reservations only and is subject to availability. On-line reservations must be made a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Spaces are limited and reservations are highly recommended for all children.

- security items such as a pacifier or special blanket

For Children (over 12 months):
- diapers & wipes
- full change of clothes
- security items such as a pacifier or special blanket
- snowplay clothing including snow pants, waterproof jacket and mittens, & boots
- eye protection (sunglasses or goggles)

The centers require a full 24-hour cancellation or change notice prior to the first day of the reservation. All cancellations and changes to your child's reservation with less than 24 hours notice will result in a full day program charge per child.
