That means “cheers” in German. Breckenridge hosts the largest Oktoberfest street party in the Rocky Mountains. The September street party is where Munich meets the mountains, featuring:

- More than three-dozen genuine German cuisine and brew vendors
- German-themed games including Hammerschlagan
- Bavarian lederhosen, Oompah and polka dancing
- Due to the extensive food and beverage offerings, we ask that you please leave your four-legged friends at home as well as any outside alcoholic beverages. Oktoberfest patrons must be 21 to     consume the wide variety of beverages offered, don’t forget your ID if you plan on partaking.

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at Oktoberfest. 




2:00 - 6:00 PM - Breckenridge Oktoberfest 2019 Main Street Party
The fun begins on Main St. with the kick-off to the Breckenridge Oktoberfest 2019 Main St. Party! Beer, food, music, and dancing will start at 2:00pm and go until 6:00pm on the first day of this three-day party. Purchase your stein and tokens starting at the North or South end of the event.

6:30 - 9:00 PM - Brewmaster Dinner
Enjoy a multi-course meal elegantly paired with Paulaner biers or alternate wines with the first course starting at 6:30 pm. It is a great evening of food, new friends and the perfect kick-off to an amazing Oktoberfest celebration dinner. The dinner will be held at Sauce on the Maggie where great food, drink, and vistas make for an amazing Breckenridge Oktoberfest dining experience. This dinner will sell out.

ALL WEEKEND - Annual Men's & Women's Oktoberfest Hockey Tournament
Our popular Oktoberfest Hockey Tournament is back again to start the fall season off right! Come to Breckenridge to play in the Oktoberfest Hockey Tournament and enjoy hockey, fun, food and beverages on Breckenridge Main Street at Colorado’s best Oktoberfest celebration September 6-8, 2019!

Tournament games run Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. Tournament Divisions include Men’s Open and Women’s A, B1 and B2. Registration deadline is Sunday, August 18 OR until tournament division is full. Full team payment is due at this time. Roster due at tourney check-in. Games are both indoors and outdoors.


10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Breckenridge Brewery's Oktoberfest Brunch
Join us for brunch at the Breckenridge Brewery on Main Street before the festivities begin! Enjoy an Oktoberfest inspired brunch featuring 5 beer pairings with 4+ courses. Space is limited to the first 60 sign ups and fills up quickly. Call the Breckenridge Brewery for reservations and info: (970)453-1550. Check-in at 9:30 and receive a welcome beer!
Cost: $60 (includes tax but not gratuity)

10:00 AM - 1:00 PM - Oktoberfest 5k Trail Run
The 18th Annual Oktoberfest 5K is back again this fall offering an active start to a festive weekend. Lace up your running shoes and experience the changing aspens and beautiful scenery in this 5K trail run on Town of Breckenridge trails, finishing in time to enjoy the Breckenridge Oktoberfest celebration. The race is open to 300 runners.

11:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Main Street Party
The fun continues with great beer, food, music, and dancing. The good times start early at 11:00 a.m. and go until 6:00pm on the second and longest day of this three-day party. Purchase your stein starting Friday at 12:00pm or Saturday at 11:00am at the North or South end of the event. If you don’t have your 2019 Stein by Saturday, hurry, because supplies are limited and usually sell out.

11:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Main Street Party
Sunday is your chance to have a beer in the morning for the second day in a row! This is the last day for great beer, food, music, and dancing on Main St. in down town Breckenridge. The good times start early again at 11:00 am and go until 5:00pm on the final day of Breckenridge Oktoberfest 2019. If you haven’t sampled all the fine beer and food that this party has to offer then get to work because your next chance is 365 days away!
