What makes Breckenridge a kid-friendly resort?

Breckenridge is Kid FriendlyWhen the kids have fun, everyone has fun. That’s the philosophy that’s pushed Breckenridge to the top of the list for families seeking kid-friendly ski trips.

We make it easy for children to enjoy every aspect of their vacation, on and off the mountain.

Below are just some of the ways that we’ve endeavored to make Breckenridge a kid-friendly resort.

The Ski & Snowboard School is designed for engagement

Our world-class instructors know how to capture your child’s attention and help them fall in love with skiing and snowboarding. All our lessons are engaging and fun, and most children walk away with friendships they won’t soon forget.

Weekly events that are fun for everyone

Adults shouldn’t be the only ones having a blast at our events throughout the week. Every event we offer, from Ullr Fest to our music and spring festivals, includes kid-friendly options like crafts, games and parades. Plus, many events like our annual Easter Egg Hunt are focused entirely on the younger set.

Ullr Fest KidsFamily-friendly restaurants to keep tummies full

Kids deserve good food, too, and several restaurants throughout Breckenridge cater to youngsters as well as they do adults. For breakfast or lunch, grab a bite at Columbine Café.

For a great dinner, try Empire Burger, Seven’s, Euro-Deli or Downstairs at Eric’s, which is a win for both parents and children alike.

Plenty of mountain fun; even off skis

You don’t have to be strapped into a snowboard or clipped into skis to enjoy some on-mountain family fun.

Take a ride on the Gold Run Alpine Coaster, the only of its kind in all of Colorado, and hold on as you sail through trees and snow. Or hop on the new TenMile Flyer Zipline.

Activities For Kids Around BreckenridgeTons of activities in town

If your little ones want a break from the mountain, there are a number of fun activities for them that don’t involve skis or a snowboard.

For hands-on indoor play, take them to the Mountain Top Children’s Museum or the Breckenridge Recreation Center.

For your slightly older kids, a trip to Eric’s Arcade or a show at the Riverwalk Center will have them grinning from ear to ear.

Breckenridge is more than a ski town.

It’s a place where families make memories that will last them a lifetime, and we make sure that there are plenty of opportunities for family bonding experiences.
