Scenic Chair, Nature Hike and Alpine Slide Package:

Tiger Edge Nature Hike
Ride the Colorado Chairlift up to the start of the hike, showcasing magnificent mountain vistas flourishing with high alpine wildflowers. Hike down the mountain looking for many diverse species of wildlife, and finish at the Alpine Slide for an exhilarating ride down back to the base area.

Scenic Chair and Nature Hike Package:

Horseshoe Bowl Nature Hike
Ride the Colorado Chairlift up to start the hike, which takes you into Breck’s magnificent Horseshoe Bowl. Walk amid a lush colorful garden bursting with different varieties of high alpine wildflowers, while taking in the incredible vista. This hike finishes back atop the Colorado Chairlift, for a scenic ride back down to the base area.

  • Hikes include: an experienced guide, water, a granola bar, use of a day pack, hiking poles, and a rain poncho.
  • Lower altitude hikes available upon request
  • All hikes depart from the Peak 8 base and are weather permitting. Ride the free gondola from town up to the starting point.
  • Hikes occur at high altitude and can be subject to rapidly changing weather. Be prepared!
  • What to bring:
    • Sturdy walking shoes, hat, jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses & camera! Reservations recommended, but not required.
