Come Hike With Us!

Team up with a Breckenridge guide for hikes on the mountain, and learn about Breck’s history, wildflowers and wildlife, all while experiencing magnificent views!
On each of our hikes we will discuss the following:

Scenic Chair and Nature Hike Package:

Scenic Chair and Horseshoe Bowl Nature Hike

Departs Daily 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (Weather permitting)
Ride the Scenic Colorado Chair for magnifcent views of the Continental Divide, set off for a walk amid a lush colorful garden bursting with many different varieties of High Alpine wildflowers. This hike takes you into the Horseshoe Bowl and finishes back at the top of the Colorado chair for a scenic ride back down.

Easy to Moderate Hike 2.5 hours including Chair lift ride up and down (Not recommended for children under 5)

  • Hikes include: an experienced guide, water, a granola bar, use of a day pack, hiking poles, and a rain poncho.
  • Lower altitude hikes available upon request
  • All hikes depart from the Peak 8 base and are weather permitting. Ride the free gondola from town up to the starting point.
  • Hikes occur at high altitude and can be subject to rapidly changing weather. Be prepared!
  • What to bring:
    • Sturdy walking shoes, hat, jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses & camera! Reservations recommended, but not required.
