Adult First Time Ski/Snowboard group classes are designed for first time skiers or snowboarders. You will have an instructor to help you with your equipment and receive a lesson focused on making your first time skiing or snowboarding easy, fun, and memorable! We will utilize specialized teaching terrain and the best pros to ensure you have a great first time experience. New participants to these sports usually take three days of lessons to gain the basic skills needed to be safe and enjoy the mountain. Group class sizes vary with an average of 8-10 students per instructor. Groups may be larger or smaller than the average.
Did you reserve your equipment as a package with your lesson? If yes make sure to fill out our equipment rental form so we can have your gear ready for you! The equipment rental includes skis or a snowboard, bindings, boots, and ski poles (if applicable). Bring your own outerwear, gloves/mittens, and goggles.
Please check in and pick up your rental equipment the day prior to your lesson! If you checked in the day before your lesson you will meet your lesson at 8:30am. At check in we will let you know where to meet your instructor!
If you are unable to check in the day prior to your lesson then we would like to see you between 8:00-8:45am on the morning of your lesson. Please check in at the sales office of your selected location.
Lunch: Groups determine their own lunch break times and location based on the needs of all the participants. Lunch is not included in the program. Generally we’ll take a break after the first two hours of the lesson. Bring your cell phone to coordinate meeting friends and family!
Classes will end between 3:00-3:30pm depending on the group. Groups will finish the day at the on snow meeting location where they started.
Slope safety is of the utmost importance in Breckenridge, familiarize yourself with Your Responsibility Code before starting your day on the mountain!
