Head over to Carter Park, located at the South end of High Street for a pick-up game of sand volleyball or soccer.

There's no doubt you'll be able to round up a group and head over to Downstairs at Eric's where you'll find the best pizza in Breckenridge, not to mention great salads, sandwiches and rotisserie chicken. Get there early, as it tends to be crowded, but there's an arcade to entertain you while you wait!

What would a summer adventure in Breckenridge be without a trip to the Peak 8 Fun Park? Experience the famous Superslide, challenge yourself on our recently-improved mini-golf course, or ride to 11,059 feet on the Colorado SuperChair for easy access to hiking, biking trails and picturesque views. Don't miss Colorado's largest human maze, Amaze'n Breckenridge. And if that's not enough high alpine adventure for you, test your skills on our climbing wall or take a leap from our newest fun park addition, the quad power jump. Get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Breckenridge offers over 40 miles of paved bike trails, perfect for bikes or roller blades. Great Adventure Sports, located in the City Market shopping center, can provide you with all your gear and rental needs.

The perfect solution to day's end is the little cantina, Mi Casa, on Park Avenue featuring fresh Mexican food at reasonable prices. Then check out the movie selection at Breck's only theater - the Speakeasy.

Explore the original workings of the mine as you feel, hear and smell what it was like to be a Colorado miner over 100 years ago! The Country Boy Mine offers the only authentic mine tour in Summit County. Tours are approximately 45 minutes long and run every hour on the hour, warm attire is recommended. After your tour, stroll the streets of Victorian Breckenridge and grab some fudge from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory on Main Street.

After an early afternoon nap, venture over to the Breckenridge Recreation Center, located just north of Main Street. Check out the two climbing walls, racquetball courts, indoor track and indoor pool. There's even a waterslide! You'll also find the local kids tearin' it up in the skate park and the waterlogged enjoying themselves in the newly developed kayak park.

Stop by Giampietro's for pizza by the slice. Stroll the streets of Victorian Breckenridge and don't forget to pick up a giant treat from Mary's Mountain Cookies before turning in for the evening.

After your early rise, head out to one of the favorite hiking trails, Mohawk Lakes. Stunning scenery, historic mine ruins and a moderate level of difficulty make this hike suitable for all ages and abilities and a favorite with locals.

Grab a guide and head to the Upper Blue for a lesson in fly-fishing. Breckenridge has one of the most concentrated areas of excellent fly-fishing in the world. Popular catches include Brook Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout.
