Four Perfect Days: Singles Vacations

Grab a muffin from Clint's Bakery on Main Street to get your motor running. Then get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Breckenridge offers over 40 miles of paved bike trails, perfect for families on bikes or roller blades. Great Adventure Sports, located in the City Market shopping center, can provide you with all your gear and rental needs.

It's a thrill. . . driving your own ATV over rugged mountain terrain. You'll go through mountain streams, experience breathtaking views of the Ten Mile Range, Continental Divide and 14,000-foot peaks. Want to let someone else do the driving? Explore the majestic Colorado backcountry in an open-top 4x4 driven by an experienced guide.

Live it up a little your first night in town! Visit Downstairs at Eric's for the best pizza around. They also serve 122 different beers, 25 of those on tap. Get there early as it tends to be crowded, but there's an arcade to entertain while you wait!

Sleep in. Recover from your first night in Breckenridge. Don't forget to drink plenty of H2O - high altitude can make you even more dehydrated. Grab a slice of pizza from Giampietro's for lunch, or for a healthier alternative, stop by Euro Deli located on Lincoln Avenue just steps from Giampietro's.

What would a summer adventure in Breckenridge be without a trip to the Peak 8 Fun Park? Experience the famous Superslide, challenge yourself on our recently-improved mini-golf course, or ride to 11,059 feet on the Colorado SuperChair for easy access to hiking, biking trails and picturesque views. Don't miss Colorado's largest human maze, Amaze'n Breckenridge. And if that's not enough high alpine adventure for you, test your skills on our climbing wall or take a leap from our newest fun park addition, the quad power jump. Before heading back to town, check out the Alpine BBQ, serving fresh summer favorites and treats daily.

The Breckenridge Brewery is one of the locals' favorite spots. Watch as award-winning beers are handcrafted by the brewers or dine on excellent pub fare at very reasonable prices.

Jump start your day by having your fill at Daylight Donuts. It's your typical no-frills skier breakfast - just basic eggs, hash browns and breakfast meats in an informal atmosphere. A trip to Breckenridge is not complete without rafting one of Colorado's most exciting attractions, Brown's Canyon. This river trip is great for first timers and experienced rafters, and the drop pool stretch makes it fun and safe for just about everyone. It has just the right amount of exciting whitewater with scenic views of 14,000-foot peaks and granite canyon walls.

Have a late night out on the town? Try a soothing eye treatment at Blue Sage Spa before revving up for your next day in Breck. The use of eye contour pads infused with active marine ingredients aids in reducing puffiness and dark circles. Eyes are left refreshed, with a firm and youthful appearance. Or try a purifying seaweed wrap. While nestled in warm blankets, this seaweed masque activates perspiration-releasing toxins from the body and skin. Recommended to maintain optimum health and restore balance in the body.

Have dinner at the inexpensive Rasta Pasta for a little Jamaican zest and then head across the street to Cecilia's - Breck's bar with a dance floor.

Venture over to the Breckenridge Recreation Center, located just north of Main Street. Check out the two climbing walls, racquetball courts, indoor track and indoor pool. There's even a waterslide! You'll also find the local kids tearin' it up in the skate park and the waterlogged enjoying themselves in the newly developed kayak park.

Stop by Angel's Hollow on Ridge Street for a quick bite to eat and then head over to Carter Park, located at the South end of High Street, for a pick-up game of sand volleyball or soccer.

Hungry, but don't want to go out? Have Gourmet Cabby deliver fare directly to your door. After you've had your fix, finish off your Breckenridge experience with live music at three20south, located on Main Street.
