The Mighty Mighty Bosstones

During their 27 year career they have played thousands of shows all over the world and released a slew of groundbreaking albums. The platinum-winning ska-core band from Boston are best known for their hit single “The Impression That I Get," and are credited as one of the progenitors of the ska punk genre.

The 5 Peaks Mountaineering Race

GoPro EpicMix Scavenger Hunt

Join GoPro and EpicMix for our second-annual Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, March 30. Connect with fellow hunters to find GoPro Hero camera cases and EpicMix pins to win big prizes at the end of the day. Collect all the pins on the list and come to happy hour to score big. Register in the Ski Hill Grill at Peak 8 to collect the clues and sign in. The first 100 people will get a GoPro neckwarmer and be registered for the GoPro section of the hunt. Three clues will be sent out via @breckenridgemtn on Twitter leading to the locations of GoPro cases. Find a case? Bring it to the GoPro tent at the base of Peak 8 to redeem it for a camera! To hunt for the GoPro cases, you must be 18 years or older or have a parent or guardian sign for you.

$10 will get you a voucher for a burger, a small fountain soda, an EpicMix lanyard, and your clues! 

Ripperoo's Mini World Cup

Sunday, March 24th 11am – 2pm

Come to the Swinger run on Peak 8; at this fun race, everyone’s a winner! Just show up at the start gate at any time throughout the day, fill out the registration form, RACE and win a special prize from Ripperoo! For kids of all ages who can ski or snowboard. Lift ticket required.

Mountain Dew Throwback Throwdown

Saturday, March 30th

Come check out the 2nd annual Breck Throwback halfpipe competition, presented by Mountain Dew! Watch as pro snowboarders compete for a $15,000 prize purse and take on a two-fold challenge: competing in our 22-foot halfpipe and then a specially constructed 5-foot mini-pipe that is an exact replica of the first one built at Breck in 1985. For tricks no more than 540 degrees of rotation will be allowed, so each rider will have to get creative with straight airs, alley oops, huge slow spins, and hand plants. This event has truly become a crowd favorite and is not to be missed!

Fever Battle Charity Hockey Game

April 1st, 5pm

It’s time for the Third Annual Fever Battle Hockey Game! Breck Ski and Ride School will take on Patrol for a departmental showdown. Tickets are $5.00 at the door and the event is open to the public. Proceeds will benefit the Dwight Brill Celebration of Life Fund, which has given over $120,000 to over 350 Breckenridge Ski Resort employees in financial need. Supergirl Snow Pro Community Cup

April 5 - 6, 2013

The Community Cup and the Supergirl Snow Pro have decided to combine forces for the first year to form the only major all-girls pro snowboarding slope style competition in the US. This event will serve as a showcase for the best of women’s snowboarding alongside art, music, yoga workshops and other female-inspired activities. (Contest takes place on April 6th)

Ripperoo's Mascot Olympics

Come to the base of Peak 8 on Sun. April 7th for one of the zaniest free kid-friendly events anywhere! Breck’s official mascot, Ripperoo, has invited a bunch of his mascot friends from around Colorado to come to Breck and participate in a series of snow sports to determine who will win the Gold, Silver and Bronze in different wacky events!

Kids Park and Pipe Camp (Ages 7-13)

March 23 – 24 (Saturday – Sunday) 

Do you want to work on your freestyle skills so that one day you can become a Pro? If you’re into table-top jumps, rollers, boxes, rails or pipes this is the camp for you! Breck is an industry leader in terrain parks, and our top-certified freestyle instructors will guarantee you a safe and fun camp for you and your friends. Available for both skiers and riders. Camp includes: small class size, group lunches, after skiing fun activities, photos, and lots of free stuff!

Requirements: Intermediate or above.

Adult Mountain Camps

Park & Pipe Camp: March 22 – 24 Friday – Sunday
Requirement: Intermediate or above

Big Mountain Camp : April 5 – April 7 Friday – Sunday
Requirement: Advanced Intermediate (comfortable on easy black terrain)

Breckenridge Film Premiere of Chasing Ice

Chasing Ice is the story of one man’s mission to change the tide of history by gather undeniable evidence of climate change. Using time-lapse cameras, his videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a breathtaking rate. Spring Fever Chili Cookoff

Sevens is going to get heated as the top chefs from Breckenridge Ski Resort face off against each other to see whose chili recipe is the best! Sunrise On-Mountain Easter Service

Be there for one of the most spectacular settings for an Easter service on Earth! At 6:00am on Easter Sunday, load the Quicksilver lift (Peak 9) up to our special location for this free sunrise service. No lift ticket required; ski equipment will not be allowed up the chair. Dress warmly for the chair ride and be a part of this service; coffee and pastries will be available for purchase on location at Ten Mile Station.
