The 31st Annual Festival is June 9 - 11, 2011. Hosted by Sean Swarner, “Keep Climbing”, Breckenridge Film Festival affords filmmakers and audiences the rare opportunity to meet and mingle with each year’s special guests in the relaxed atmosphere of our beautiful Victorian town.
If Sundance is too crazy, grand and expensive, come to Breckenridge and recapture those early days of Sundance at the Breckenridge Film Festival. Breckenridge has all the big premieres – Straight from the Cannes Film Festival, last year’s opening premiere, “Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky”, screened to a standing room only crowd! Each year the Festival shows new picture releases and over 50 Independent Films.
Independent Filmmakers and Celebrities come together and sit side-by-side with the public in local bistros and cafes to talk film.
