Avalanche Education Series

Welcome back to another winter season in Breckenridge! The Breckenridge Ski Patrol is continuing on with a Free Public Avalanche Education series for the 2012-13 ski season. This education series is absolutely free to everyone with free food, door prizes and it is a great opportunity for learning about avalanche safety in and around the 10 Mile Range.

The first talk will be on November 29th  and each of the other talks will take place on the 3rd Thursday of each month through March 2013.

Topics will include:

  • Snowpack of the 10 Mile Range
  • Backcountry Access Points and Boundary Policy
  • Historical Perspective on Peak 7

Education sessions will begin at 6pm at The Forest Room in The Village, base of Peak 9.
