Breckenridge Festival of Film and Breckenridge Theater present:
"The Gold Sparrow" with "We Ride: The Story of Snowboarding"

"The Gold Sparrow" (short film) is an animated story set in a crumbling black-and-white futuristic metropolis, void of creativity and color, the city is traversed by The Gold Sparrow and her nefarious side kick, The Ring Leader. Together they scour the gray-scale streets, stealing the color from anyone daring enough to bring art back into their bleak world.

In "We Ride: The Story of Snowboarding," Grain Media and Burn Energy Drink tell the story of snowboarding through the eyes of the people who made it happen. From its origins in the culturally shifting 1960s, to its boom in the 90s, to its acceptance as a mainstream sport, snowboarding has had a roller coaster history.

The Breckenridge Festival of Film and the Breckenridge Theater have partnered to present films telling these stories and more during their Spring Fever Film Series beginning April 3 at the Breckenridge Theater. Spring Fever Film Fest tickets are $12/adults and $10/children & seniors; showtimes are 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays.

Get a $2 discount by flashing your Epic Pass! Tickets available prior to showtime at the Breckenridge Theater box office.
