The Edwin Carter Museum honors Edwin Carter, a Gold Rush miner turned naturalist at heart. Carter practiced taxidermy and used his collection to educate people about the negative effects mining had on the environment.

Open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday - Sunday.

Admission is $3/person, $5/couple and kids and students are FREE
